The Electric Funketeers
Originally established in 1980 as one of the first popping groups in Chicago, the Electric Funketeers (EF) is still going strong as the biggest popping presence in the city. Now comprised of a new generation of dancers, group members specialize in everything from waving to animation to boogaloo. Recently, EF has opened up to other styles of dance as well, making it one of the most diverse crews in the city.
Apart from battling, training, and continuously refining their craft, EF strives to build bridges in the dance community. They love sharing and exchanging with other dancers through their open sessions and guest workshops. Ultimately, they want to bring people together through dance while being the best dancers they can be.
