In honor of Women’s Herstory Month, Goddistas Crew is hosting a youth focused Bgirl Battle lifting up the positive self-awareness and self-esteem building present in Bgirl Culture featuring:

1×1 Youth Bgirl Battle (14 & Under)
Prelims: Cypher Style
We’re reaching out to Bgirls in the scene who are active and/or have contributed to the herstory of Bgirls in Chicago and other scenes. These ladies will cypher with and choose which young Bgirls move on to the bracket rounds by presenting them with a pendant during the cyphers. Each pendant will have the name of the Bgirl who gave it to the young bgirl so she can take it as a keepsake and remember who gave it to her as she continues to build in this culture. Battles will move into bracket after prelims.

Trophy & Cash Prize
*Plus free entry & automatic placing in Breaking Dojos Final Cypher*

The-Come-Up 1×1 Bgirl Battle (2 years or less experience)
This battle will provide Bgirls who have just started building in their craft to get it in. Format will depend on # of Bgirls entered. No age limit.
