The Vilas Park Sniper (aka Nathan Foulks) is Madison Wisconsin’s premier all style party rocker. VPS started DJing seriously in the 90’s and soon moved to San Francisco – instantly falling in love with the Bay Area turntablist scene (Shortkut, Vinroc, Apollo, Derrick D, etc.) In the early 2000’s he took what he learned in the Bay and brought it back to Madison, and has been throwing parties ever since.

With almost 20 years under his belt, this old selector shows no signs of slowing down. You can catch him just about every weekend DJing a party somewhere in the Midwest. Aside from bars, clubs and pop-up parties, VPS loves to spin dance competitions and battles, and was the resident DJ for Breakin’ the Law – Madison’s most prolific Breaking festival to-date. Other career highlights include opening for Talib Kweli, Wiz Khalifa, Wale, Yelawolf, Hieroglyphics, DJ Cut Chemist, DJ Shadow, The Wailers and many more.

The Sniper’s main future goal is to have the ability to keep doing what he has been doing for years – rock one party after another. While many DJs get into the business and dream to play sold out crowds in stadiums, VPS prefers an intimate bar or club with people dancing, cyphering, and having a good time with love in their heart and smiles on their faces.
