BATTLE OF THE BREAKIN’ DOJOS 3!

The saga continues…….Chicago’s Premiere Competition of the Breaking Schools in our third installment.

The format is the same but will have some changes to improve quality. The categories are as follows:

-Best Show (5 minute slots)

-1st Place Crew Battle (5 member minimum)

-MVB (Most Valuable Breaker)

-Best Crew Gear

-Cypher Prince and Princess (Thanks Honey Rockwell for the name suggestion)

-King/Queen of the Hill (7 to Smoke type format)

-Category battles (Toprock, Footwork, and Power)

DJ’s TBA

Judges TBA

Host TBA

Exhibition battles TBA

Changes to improve quality:

1.) Food will be served with drinks (no alcohol).

2.) There will be two divisions Division A and B. Division B (ages 12 and under) and Division A (ages 13-17).

3.) Pre-registration online. Schools MUST register online and pre-pay. This shortens the line at the door and wait time.

4.) There will be one Home school team. NO crew hopping or hybrid teams.

Also as an announcement, along with focus on organization there will be a big focus on the culture. The following will be added to add quality on the culture:

-MC performances

-Documentary screening

-Discussion panel

-Free workshops

We will continue the park jam on Sunday that’s totally FREE. More details on that also later……
