It’s here again! Renegades of Funk brings you the the Writers Bench Spring Edition to kick off the warm weather in Chicago! Located at the Eagle statue in Logan Square on the intersection of Milwaukee Ave, Logan Blvd, and Kedzie Ave.
Come enjoy this outside park jam with live music and a graffiti showcase! Starts around 2pm (Hip Hop time) and goes til whenever! Bring good vibes only. Be respectful because this is all for the love of Hip Hop and community! Let’s show Chicago we can come together and have a good time! All ages!

1 v 1 Kids battle 12 and under hosted by Kid Jungle. Winner gets the Eagle trophy and gets placed in the final cypher at the Battle of the Breaking Dojos 2016 event July 23rd!

Friday – Phaze II presents Funkmasterz Cypher jam with Djs B-Ryan and Edouble. $10. Olin Studios 1957 W 23rd. St. 8pm-12am
Friday – DMC Midwest Regional Qualifier at Double Door
Saturday – Daytime – Footwork Frenzy – Creation Global and Phaze II team up to bring a battle of footworking of all styles.
Nightime – Power Style Radio 2 Year Anniversary! Come party with the PSR family bringing you a super DJ line up and cyphers all night. Cypher King/Queen award $100
