Part 2 of the Youth Olympics/UBA/WDSF Discussion with B-Girl Candy! 1-17-17

We continue our discussion with Candy Molia, president the United Breakin’ Association (UBA) and CEO of Child of this Culture.  We are looking to open up dialogue about the UBA’s involvement and  mission statement  for the Breaking community.  As one of their tasks of bringing Breaking to the next Youth Olympics there has been mad controversy of how they will protect the community and preserve the culture.  Last week’s episode with Midus (Style Elements and Originality Stands Alone) we talked about his research of the World Dance Sport Federation (WDSF) exploiting Breaking culture so they can get themselves in the door of the International Olympic Committee to ultimately have competition ballroom dancing in the Olympics.  How will the UBA represent the culture?  Where do they fall in the hierarchy of the IOC and its partner organizations?  How can you get more info to possibly get involved?  Tune in and be a part of this very important discussion next Tuesday 8:30-11:30pm CST!
