He is a producer/beat maker/artist/president and CEO. They call him Rhyme Sik. Confidence ablaze, Rhyme Sik pounded through the brick walls known as the streets of Chicago to claim his fate. Rhyme Sik is not a rapper but the art of music personified. The upcoming project that will breathe new life into the heart and lungs of music and revive the creativity that lays dormant among its connoisseurs. “Picasso” promises to deliver the strokes of a skilled artist and the substance of great storytelling guiding the listener through the stress and triumphs of hustling, street life and relationships. It’s something you can sink your teeth into.

Sik got his calling at the age of 12. During that time he honed his writing and freestyling skills He always had a crew but his individuality afforded him the opportunity to open for LL Cool J at an event held at operation push the prominent organization formed by the Reverend Jesse Jackson.

 

Like many other artists who come into their own, Sik endured the tribulations of those who didn’t share his passion and vision. The experiences provoked his self-sufficiency and increased his diligence, a determination that led to the launch of his record label “Heavyweightz Music Group.” The label boasts producers, Hip Hop, R&B and Neo Soul artists. Sik is not stopping there. He completed his mixtape ready for release this summer and is currently developing a clothing line.

 

Hard, sexy, sinister, mysterious, gritty and intelligent.
